A few Hawaiʻi-specific items to plan for. This is general information, not legal or tax advice — we’ll help you bring in the right professionals early.

In Hawaiʻi, sellers customarily pay the state conveyance tax, plus their share of escrow fees. We’ll estimate your net proceeds before you list, so there are no surprises.
Hawaiian Home Lands leases can only transfer to qualified native Hawaiian beneficiaries, with DHHL approval. We’ll help you understand the process and timeline before you start.
